Our insertion machines incorporate pneumatic, hydraulic, servo, and robotic automation to install secondary components on main body parts, such as plastic push pin fasteners, steel spring clips, riv-nuts, and screws. Part verification is included to make certain each installation is successful.

Metal to plastic insertions

More commonly referred to as induction heating, metal parts are super heated by placing them within an induction coil, then inserted into molded plastic parts and allowed to cool, encapsulating the metal insert in the plastic part. Typical applications involve the need to bolt plastic molded parts together, where one half of the parts has a threaded metal insert for bolts to tighten into.
